David Ramsay was a provider of plants and a landscape gardener and contractor active in the 19th century, especially the 1810s and 1850s.
Ramsay worked particularly in Greater London, England where he was the proprietor of Stanhope Nursery in Brompton and Fulham and where in 1829 he had acquired W. Salisbury's Nursery in Sloane Street, Chelsea.
