James Bewsher Walker was a professional garden designer in the late-19th and early-20th century and was associated with the firm of Mawson and Sons. Walker gave the address for the design proposal for the Peace Palace (Vredespaleis Den Hague) in Mawson's absence. He later went into private practice working from Papley, Northamptonshire. Walker's copy of 'The Art and Craft' was signed ‘To my London manager Mr J.B Walker, whose practical help has contributed to the success of many of the gardens illustrated in this work. Thomas H.
