William Bowie was a nurseryman from Musselburgh, East Lothian, Scotland active in the mid-18th century. He worked in partnership with the landscape designer James Bowie between 1752 and 1768. In 1753 he produced a nine point memorandum on the gardens at Yester House, East Lothian, Scotland.
