William Bruce
Sir William Bruce was a Scottish landowner, Justice of the Peace, parliamentary commissioner, and (briefly) Privy Councillor for Scotland. He was also created a Baronet. He was a gentleman architect and Surveyor-General and was overseer of the King's Buildings in Scotland from 1671 to 1678. He was born around 1625 and died in 1710.
