Introduction
The house became an hotel in 1831, but the grounds were developed during the expansion of Douglas in the late 19th century. Very little of the garden now remains. The building is still an hotel. Please see: http://www.gov.im/tourism/conferences/venues/castle_mona_hotel.xml
