Introduction

The focal point of this garden are four magnolias donated by the Savill Garden in Windsor. Corporal T W H Veale VC, to whom this garden is dedicated, received the Victoria Cross for his heroic rescue of Eric Savill in the Somme in July, 1916. Much of the rest of the garden is made up of white flowering bulbs and shrubs, along with a blue metal plaque commemorating Corporal Veale.
