Dacres Park

Introduction

A hall standing in grounds of about 4 hectares with a small, wooded parkland.

Dacres Hall stands in grounds of about 4 hectares with a small, wooded parkland. The site is bounded to the north by the Manchester Road, with open land on all other boundaries. The Stalybridge and Diggle Loop railway lines ran to the north of the site. It is possible that there was a productive garden to the south of the hall. The eastern part of the park has been developed for housing.
