Introduction
Dukinfield Cemetery lies to the south of Park Road. The cemetery was opened in 1866. It is an irregular site with entrances from Hall Green Road and Prospect Road. There is a lodge on Hall Green Road. Features include three mortuary chapels. The site was divided by an elaborate system of formal and curvilinear walks edged with trees. Although the site remains, the path system has been simplified.
