Introduction
Edwinsford has the vestiges of parkland, including an oak avenue. There is a fine bridge linking the utilitarian area (including the walled garden, coach house and gardener's cottage) to the mansion. Many of the buildings were topped with lead ornaments that depicted their function. The ornaments are now gone. There are family associations with Sir Joseph Banks.
