Introduction
The site is set in a secluded, sheltered valley. There is an informal layout of paths, and a small area of lawn overlooking the stream running round the west side. Trees are covered with rambling roses, including an old robinia about 18 to 21 metres high. The site is backed by stone walls on the east and south, and by the house in the south-east corner. There are occasional open days under the National Gardens Scheme.
Terrain
The ground slopes up to the north. Beyond the garden to the north is a steep wooded slope.- Visitor Access, Directions & Contacts
