Government House, Isle of Man

Introduction

Government House is the 19th century residence of the island's Governor. There are mature trees and a planted drive dating to about 1850. There have been subsequent additions till the 1910s, including a rose garden and herbaceous borders, and the development of the nearby wooded 'Harper's Glen'.
