Introduction
This is a demesne for a house of about 1820, with contemporary trees forming a shelter belt. Other features include three ponds, a grotto, a hermitage, an ice house and a cultivated walled garden. The site is now Greenmount College of Agriculture and Horticulture, and there is current landscaping for the college.
