Introduction
Grove House had a house in grounds to the west of Sandy Lane. Dukinfield Cemetery lay to the west, with an open area to the north-east. The site was roughly rectangular, with a small pleasure ground and irregular blocks of trees merging with Sandy Lane Wood to the east. The site should be seen in association with the cemetery and Dukinfield Lodge West. The site is now lost, and is covered by a housing development.
