Introduction
Hilton House has grounds bounded by Hilton Lane to the west and Barnfield to the north, with open fields to the south. This is an irregular site, with the house in a roughly central position. There is a path system leading to probable productive garden to the south. The house has been demolished but part of the grounds, together with those of the neighbouring houses may survive on the edges of the Hilton Park Golf Course.
