Introduction
Ibstone House has late 18th-century formal gardens, with an area of parkland to the east. The gardens have been modified since the original planting and the parkland is somewhat fragmented.
The house is a late C18 villa with c.1830-40 alterations and service wing to left. (Kelly's Directory 1847). The house was refurbished C20, with C20 extensions to rear at basement level.
