Introduction
Features of Isleham Hall include an avenue, paddocks and a walled kitchen garden.
Isleham Hall has a walled garden, an orchard, paddocks and 168 hectares (420 acres) of rich, arable and pasture land. It is approached from West Street by a private road.
Today the original entrance from West Street is lined with pollarded sycamore trees. The hall is protected from winds by a Cypressus leylandii hedge which is lowered to afford views to the fields beyond. The small orchard still remains. There is no rear garden as such, but a small park to the east.
