Introduction
Kirklees Hall is a 16th and 17th century hall and landscape park. The current structure dates from the 1750s. The house is on the site of Kirklees Priory, which dated to the 12th century. Features include ponds, a kitchen garden, earthworks, a 19th century viewing tower and the supposed site of Robin Hood's grave.
