The arboretum is open to the public every day except Christmas Day, from 9 am to sunset.

History

The Arboretum was created in 1948 and the lake in 1963. There was some damage to the trees during gales in 1985. In 1996 the site passed to the Cheshire Wildlife Trust and in 2003 it was transferred to the Tatton Garden Society.
