Pretty Corner (also known as Guts Pond)

Introduction

Pretty Corner is a small triangular area of public garden at the junction of Fore Street and Eastcote High Road. It is overlooked by estate cottages of Eastcote Lodge built in 1879. The garden, once the site of Guts Pond, has trimmed hedges on two roadside boundaries and a central flagstone path; the rear of the site has shrubbery and trees.
