Introduction
This site had a hall and grounds with a small park bounded by a lane to the west, Rifle Butt Road to the north and open fields to all other sides. There was an entrance lodge at the lane, with a tree-lined drive through the small park. There was a possible productive garden to the east of the site. The motorway now runs through the site but a dovecote survives.
