Tenterden Sports Ground and John Billam Sports Ground

Introduction

Tenterden Park is partly public open space and partly sports ground, its recreational use probably dating from the 1920s. Adjacent to the west, John Billam Sports Ground is a large flat open space with a pavilion built for Selfridge Sports Ground, which was opened in the 1920s by Princess Wiasenski, daughter of Gordon Selfridge.
