Vaynol

Introduction

Vaynol is a walled coastal landscape park laid out in the 1820s, with a newly-restored lake. A well-preserved walled and terraced 16th-century garden lies at the centre of the park, associated with Vaynol Old Hall. There are also later formal gardens, a model farm, kitchen gardens and several park buildings.
