Introduction
Whalley House had a house with grounds and a small park. The site was bounded by Wood Road to the north-east and east, Upper Chorlton Road to the north-west and Chorlton Road to the south-west and south. The whole area was developed by 1895, including the development in the park. The site is now lost.
