Introduction
Woodley Farm was a house with a park bounded by Stand Lane to the east, Ringley Road to the west and open fields to the north and south. The foundry abuts the north-eastern edge of the site and appears to be connected to it by a path system. There was an entrance from Stand Lane with buildings, small plantations and a lake or pond between the house and the foundry. The site survivs in part. The house may survive as Woodley Farm. Foundry site developed for housing and park now Stand Golf Course.
